What plant allies are calling out to you?

Our plant friends have so much to share with us, helping us live our lives with a little more ease. I believe that plants are for the people, and everyone deserves access to herbalism!

My Offers

Acute Consults

There’s a lot to be said of the power of plants for acute illness and injury! These consults are shorter, and focused on acute issues.

Chronic Consults

Plants also offer much in the way of easing chronic complaints — lets chat about what you’ve been experiencing and what your goals are.

Herbal Preparations

For those who have sat in consultation with me I can offer personalized herbal preparations in the forms of teas, tinctures, salves, and more.

Accessibility

Keeping herbalism accessible is a core value, so I price all of my offerings on a sliding scale with no need to explain your financial situation.

What would better health feel like in your body?

About Me

Hi, I’m Chelsey! I’ve been a lover of the plant world since I was a kid drinking chamomile tea and picking red clovers and raspberries from my back yard.

In 2011 I started getting serious about herbalism, and took an apprenticeship with herbalist Bonnie Kreckow in Winona, MN. I spent the next ten years exploring all of the ways I can work with plants for food and medicine.

I spent a few years growing food on a few farms and with a local non-profit, many years out hiking and learning to identify and forage what grows locally, and then in 2021 started deepening my training by taking courses to get a certificate from Commonwealth Center for Holistic Herbalist in community herbalism.

My goal is to provide support to those in my community, both locally and across the country, that is accessible and always ethical.

How It Works

1.

Book a Consult

Book a consult directly on my calendar, or contact me to book. Acutes generally take 30-60 minutes, and chronics 60-120.

2.

Meet and Discuss

At your consult we will go in depth into what you’re experiencing, and what your goals are when working with herbs.

3.

Recommendations Given

With the notes I take during our talk I will compose some recommendations of herbs that I think will assist you in meeting your goals.

4.

Follow Up

I recommend scheduling a follow up appointment about 6-8 weeks after starting the recommendations – questions are welcome via email in-between.

“In some Native languages the term for plants translates to “those who take care of us.”
